Billing for Home Care is based on your insurance provider. In many cases, Medicare will cover the costs of in-home care for patients 65 years or older or on disability for a certain period of time. Other private insurance providers may include home health coverage in the policy. It is important to check with insurance about what is covered before beginning Home Care services.
If your insurance does not cover home health or the coverage has reached its limit, you may pay for services via private pay. If you are in need of Home Care services and concerned about the potential bill, please contact a financial counselor to learn more about your options.
