On Friday, October 25, the Illinois State University College of Business honored fourteen recipients with Early Career Achievement Awards. The fourteen awards are based on the degree programs offered by the college. The honorees were selected based on their commitment of service to others, professional development, and the five core principles of responsibility, honor, respect, fairness, and trust. Kyle Burrows, BS, FASPR, Perry Memorial Clinic Operations Coordinator, received the award for Organizational Leadership as a graduate from 2012.
This honor is awarded during Homecoming Celebrations at ISU in Bloomington, IL, where the alumni return to campus for celebration. The young professionals share their innovative leadership ideas and advice with current College of Business students during a panel discussion.
Kyle began his career at Perry in the dietary department while in high school, and continued to work summers during college. Kyle returned after college graduation as the Patient Advocate and Professional Recruiter. Kyle became Clinic Operations Coordinator in May, 2018, and now manages our Henry, Walnut, and Prompt Care Clinics, and oversees participation in the Illinois Rural Community Care Organization as the Perry liaison.
