National Hospital Week 2019 celebrates hope and healing. Perry is celebrating “Generations of Caring since 1920” this week, May 13th through 17th. Perry Memorial Hospital is dedicated to living its mission – to provide compassionate quality health services to the people and communities we serve – which is only possible through our 370+ staff providing a smile, a kind word, and a commitment to quality for over 90,000 services last year.
The Perry Team – comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, aides, therapists, plant operations, dietary staff, environment experts, laboratory and radiology technicians, coders and billers, information technology, our volunteers, office support staff and administrators – place patients’ health care needs as a priority.
Celebrating Generations of Caring since 1920 will include an employee recognition dinner, employee gift distribution, Perry Memorial Hospital Foundation gift, Auxiliary Ice Cream Social, Plant Operations Tours, contests throughout the week, and end Friday with an employee lunch for all shifts.
Simply put, Perry is proud to provide a health experience with a presence of heart, touching the lives of neighbors, friends and families when the need arises. Perry remains committed to cultivating healthy strong communities.
“On behalf of Perry’s leadership and staff, I would like to extend our thank you to the community for the opportunity to serve you. We are honored to be your healthcare provider.” Annette Schnabel, President & CEO.
We Listen. We Care. We are Perry.
*National Hospital Week dates back to 1921 in Chicago. That initial celebration succeeded in promoting trust and goodwill with the community and grew into an annual national movement in 1953.
