The Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary 2019 donation totaled over $7,500.00 in equipment to the hospital due to the kindness of Allegion, PLC, in Princeton. Allegion plant manager, Christopher Dybek, stated "At Allegion, our culture is built on eight core values, one of the core values is 'Serve others, not yourself.' When the opportunity was presented to support the Tree of Lights campaign, that core value lead us to fulfill the need of the campaign."
Deb Kirley, Tree of Lights committee member said, "I couldn't believe it! What a wonderful and generous thing for Allegion to do." With the generous donation of the Allegion door closer, the Auxiliary Tree of Lights committee was able to provide an additional $4,000 in equipment purchases including a graphing temperature monitoring recorder for the Laboratory, three tall hip chairs for Cardiac Rehabilitation, two bariatric chairs for Dietary, and three wheelchairs for general use in the hospital and clinic areas.
Together in 2019 both the Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Allegion partnered together to honor and value community. Allegion helps keep people safe and secure where they live, work, and visit, and Perry provides access to a continuum of health services in partnership. The outcome?
