Being stuck at home can be hard on your health. With everything closed, it is easy to fall into a routine of spending the day on the couch and eating junk food. While we wait for the threat of COVID-19 to end, those bad habits are increasing the risk of other health problems down the road.
Normally, we encourage our patients and community members to participate in classes and support groups to attend events sponsored by Perry Memorial Hospital to learn more and stay on the path of health and wellness. In this time of social distancing, we have to find new ways to stay connected, informed, and motivated to pursue healthy lifestyles. Starting May 6, 2020, every Wednesday the Education Department at Perry Memorial Hospital will be releasing a blog focused around how to continue healthy living practices while stuck at home. These blogs will be shared on Facebook and sent through our email newsletter.
