Perry Announces the Addition of Perry Podiatry Clinic

November 25, 2018

Perry Memorial Hospital CEO/President, Annette Schnabel, proudly announces the addition of the Perry Podiatry Clinic with Dr. Gary Hoelle, DPM, joining the Perry Team, Monday, November 26.

“Perry Memorial Hospital continuously evaluates the availability of health care providers and services to meet our community’s needs, said Annette.”  I believe in working with current providers like Dr. Hoelle, we are able to assist in a succession and transitional plan as they retire from active practice.  Recently Perry had the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Gary Hoelle who has provided services to the region for 30 years, in his future succession planning efforts.”

Dr. Hoelle and Perry worked together to recruit Dr. Amanda McGuire, D.P.M. to join Perry in the summer of 2019 upon completion of her residency program at Katherine Shaw Bethea Podiatric Residence Program in Dixon, Illinois.

Dr. Hoelle will continue to provide the same excellent, professional services to the community until the succession is complete. Perry Podiatry Clinic will provide services through the expertise and experience of Dr. Hoelle, Tuesday-Thursday in the same office as he is currently located through the end of summer 2019.

Dr. McGuire’s residency training prepares her to offer podiatric foot and ankle surgery.  She will become the fulltime provider as the transition ends and will offer both office procedures and surgical podiatry services.  Specialty foot care will be offered for children, sports injuries, and elder and diabetic foot care.  This collaboration enables Perry to expand and grow our quality health services for our communities and their residents.

Perry Podiatry Clinic will be located in the same office space, Dr. Hoelle currently occupies.  It is located in the Physicians Medical Building, 530 Park Avenue East in Suite 202.   Call 815-872-3034 for an appointment.
